Update: I've continued to mine the stylings of African, Brazilian, British and American music and blending it into my music as I also learn to use my latest software, Propellerhead Record. As I become more familiar with the equipment, I can hear that it is freeing up my compositions and speeding up my production. Kudos to the engineers at Propellerhead.
Bug The Root is a project that has spanned over two decades, and seeks to integrate the global musical menu into a new sound. The project started as a one-man-band that morphed into an online collaborative effort. All songs are written, arranged and produced by Quico. Most of the instruments are played by Q, however thanks to the kindness and generosity of "virtual-friends", Bug The Root now features the artistic talents of several brilliant musicians who have agreed to work with Q.
Quico: Acoustic and Electric Rhythm guitars, Mandolin, Penny Whistle, Piano/Keys, Melodica, Hand Percussion
Don Paul Moore: Lead Guitars
Gabe Steele: Bass guitar
Justin Herdman: Drums and Percussion
Gretchen Roberts: Guest vocals
All songs are recorded on various home studio systems.
