At the age of 7, piano lessons for 2 years, from then on refused any instruction, pilfered the notes from Dad's music cabinet and secretly practiced piano when no one else was at home and finally at the age of 10 years laid down the Italian Concerto of J.S. Bach ...
With15, I got my first guitar, listened to recordings of the guitar chords of the best guitarists and so came to my own style.
With 33! I finally discovered the Irish bouzouki, which has not released me from now on! It coulc be said, that this instrument is perfectly suited to me, it was like I'd never had another instrument in my hands ...
So I play irish bouzouki, guitar, keys and a little bit flute www.myspace.com/juttaroos) as well for my own as in different formations - former bands such as "Revenge of the Killer Bouzouki" and "Bran" (1980/90) (www.soundclick.com/revengeofthekillerbouzouki), current ones "The Humours of Boyle" and "JAC'n Reel" (www.myspace.com/JAC'nJig) current cooperation with Rainer Struck "Celtic Bouzouki Ensemble" (www.soundclick/celticbouzoukiensemble and www.myspace.com/struckroos), Julien Boulier (www.myspace.com/bodhranboulier) and with Klanggebrueder (www.myspace.com/klanggebieter and www.myspace.com/loopforce).
After a longer break for nearly 15 years starting again 2008 with my own music in a special manner combined very often with traditional celtic music. I have a preference for irish jigs playing in my own way (wherefore gaining the name "Queen of Jigs" .. :))
Lastly this year member of "Celtic Borders" ( www.reverbnation.com/CelticBorders )
