Lady Arlene / Bio

Hello my name is Arlene Yates and when I was 12 years old, I wanted so badly to be a drummer, but my parents laughed at me and said no way are we going to buy you a drum set, so I fought them on that issue and they won the first round.

When I turned 13 years old, I begged them for a guitar. I knew I wanted to play guitar. I was persistant on this one. I wouldn't take no for an answer. I won round two.

I never knew I'd be so happy in my little world of music. When I turned 14 years old, I formed an all girl's rock & roll band. We called ourselves The Jaggz. We played for all the uso's, high school dances, and even played on a float in a parade.

In my later days, I turned to song writing and recording. Now I just entertain whenever I get a gig. One of my biggest thrills in life is creating a character for children, and writing new songs and recording them and also performing them. I also play a little saxaphone and hope you enjoy the songs. Thank you. Lady Arlene
