Janelle "J'Nelle" Richardson is a Trinidadian singer, songwriter and vocal producer from Tampa, Florida. Her desire to become one of the most inspirational and versatile singer/artist of all time has been without a doubt very persistent. She is well known in the Tampa Bay area and in various cities throughout the State of Florida due to her participation in various talent shows and public events. J'Nelle has also written for many artists in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.
She has recently won 2009's Bay to Bay Area Idol competition in the vocal category. J'Nelle has sung the National Anthem at many seasonal games. They include the 2008 Tampa Bay Devil Rays Baseball Team at the Tropicana Field St. Petersburg, Florida. J'Nelle has also performed at football games. Two of those occasions was for the Darryl Jackson's (San Francisco 49ers wide receiver) Foundation celebrity basketball tournament. Her memory performing before Vickie Winans and John P.Kee has been phenomenal. She also has also performed before a television audience on a Pinellas Access Television Program, 'Street Talk' and The Tampa Bay Community Network's 'Drunk D and Suga Shack Show.'
J'Nelle has shared her dream story of becoming an inspirational singer/artist in the Florida Sentinel newspaper and WTMP 96.1 FM, 1150 AM radio station. J'Nelle's determination and courage has provided her with the opportunity to perform on the Showtime at the Apollo Stage in Harlem, New York in April 2010. Because J'Nelle has a passion for singing, her goal is to focus on exploring all her opportunities that will help her to grow into the best singing artiste of all times.
On January 6, 2014, J'Nelle released her OFFICIAL Single off the CODE 689 EP. She is now currently working on her new project which will be a new realm of music for J'Nelle; but nevertheless, a familiar genre. With her latest single, "Lose Yuhself", J'Nelle is taking the Caribbean music scene by storm.
