A Seattle based trio whose sounds, antics, and message has been spread as far as Staten Island, New York to Scotland, U.K and Illiers L'Eveque, France.Their name, Jobe Himself, is derived from the old testament, regarding the book of Job. It is the embodiement of the strength that good people have when terrible things happen to them. As we know the ultimate truth is: bad things happen to good people. But it’s those who keep their eyes to sun and hearts strong that make this world sustain it's true beauty.
With influences from the likes of Blues legends such as Blind Lemon Jefferson and Lightnin Jack Hopkins and the grunge of Dinosaur Jr. and The Meat Puppets, the virtue of Jobe Himself bleeds through the rough exterior of grunge, rock and blues. Their live show has been quoted to be music without a face; no images, no cliches, no bitter categorization, just simply great music. With a message of freedom from anxiety and the perils of life in their voice, Jobe Himself comes to you with one simple task: To free your soul with every touch of their instruments and every lyric from their experiences.
