Prawit Siriwat / Bio

Prawit "Wit" Siriwat is a guitarist and composer. His compositions blend the lines between many different generes including rock, classical, folk music and jazz. 
He attended Day Jams Rock Music Camp for 5 years and participated in the famous Berklee College of Music's 5-week Summer Performance Program in 2010. Artists he has recorded and/or performed with include: Pieces of Mercury, The Everything Orphanage, The Rodney Kelley Experience, Matt Talley, Tobias Hurwitz Brian Swain, Matt Talley, Chris Galante (of the Aviator Set), Will Melones (The Willmatics), Neil Zaza, The Prawit Siriwat Trio, Joe Holeback (as heard on the Trio recordings).
Prawit is 2011's best soloist for the Music with Friends Festival and the recipient of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. His string orchestra composition, "The Sixth Secret", won sixth place in Harford County's first Young Composers Competition, chosen from 25 composers. Wit is currently attending the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York.
