Saxophonist/Flutist/Composer Robert Kyle has become known for his unique warm sound, melodic style, and his ability to harmoniously cross musical borders. His lyricism and passion are evident in whatever situation he finds himself, and he is fluid in many styles including Jazz, Blues, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, R & B and Classical. His performing and recording credits include work with Stevie Wonder, Michael Bolton, Michael McDonald, Natalie Cole, Vince Gill, Jason Mraz, Linda Ronstadt, Carole King, Kenny Loggins, Brenda Russell, Lou Rawls, Della Reese, Chaka Khan, Babyface, Jessica Simpson and more. He’s been a featured soloist on hundreds of recordings and has played for the Academy awards, the Emmy awards, The BET awards, The Nick & Jessica Variety Show, Lou Rawls cavalcade of stars, and many others. In addition to a very active studio career playing for TV, film and jingles, he’s also a highly skilled arranger & producer. Robert has released 8 CD’s under his own name. As a 19 year member and musical director for blues diva Linda Hopkins, he has performed internationally at many of the biggest Jazz festivals & venues in the world. He’s also the musical director for salsa artist Leslie Paula and Jazz vocalist Carol Bach-y-Rita. He’s produced and arranged CD’s for both Miss Paula & Miss Bach-y-Rita as well as Miguel Gutierrez, Betty Bryant, Braziliando, The HI-Fi-Quntet and many others.
