My name is Roxanne Caballero (Roxxy); I was born and raised in Laredo, TX. I followed the footsteps of my father, Eduardo Caballero, also a musician (1957-1989). My father bought me a toy piano when I was just 3 years old and I've been fiddling with music ever since. It is in my blood and I feel incomplete without it. There was always music being blared at my house, from my father practicing guitar/keyboards to him listening to his music and jamming at the same time. After my father passed away at twelve years old, I became eager and curious to pick up guitar, like my father. My mom bought me my first drum set at sixteen years old, and I feel in love. I had been in a lot of bands in Laredo, playing drums/singing. I really enjoyed it. I just mostly became a solo artist, and I would be willing to collaborate with other artist as well. I also think that joining a band or making one with the same musical aspects would be awesome.
Now, I am a singer/songwriter/musician. I play a couple of instruments, mostly guitar and piano/keyboards, but dabble in drums every now and again. Mostly I sing and play guitar. I'm fulfilling a lifelong dream to making my own music and hopefully one day living off of it and performing to the massive of crowds, even if it be a few.
May God bless each and every one of you and may you always be true to yourself and always have the strength and diligence to reaching and striving for your lifelong potential.
Also, I'd like to thank Joe Miraglilo, my friend as well as the person who helped produce the songs here and a few more on my Myspace page: www.myspace.com/roxannecaballero
I'd also like to add credits to Joe Miraglilo playing drums and bass for the following: "They'll Be A Way", "One Day at a Time", and "Tell Me How"
Thank you Joe for all your help and in helping me get a little bit closer to reaching my dreams!!! God bless you!
