inconsequential... / Bio

I was born in Iowa. I was given a drum set by a friend of my parents when I was about 15 years old. I taught myself to play by listening to a big band compilation tape given to me by my grandfather Raymond and a christian rock band from the tape from the late 80's named Geoff Moore and the Distance. When I was 16 I saw a Nirvana video on a television show called "Radio 1990" on the USA network (MTV was outlawed in the small Texas town I lived in at the time) and it changed how I heard music. Shortly there after I was drumming with a local guitar player and we named what we did Zebulun. I recieved my first guitar from that gentleman and I have been writing since that moment... with a few long pauses intermittently when I learned about life....
