Mic Blu the Moufpeace / Bio

"Mic Blu the Moufpeace", a formidable vocalist, songwriter, and lyricist, is a vibrant young heart with an old spirit. His creative blend of classic soul and newschool sound has garnered him recognition in Gospel and secular circles alike. He now carves out a niche for himself by way of his "Modern Hymns". Mic Blu made his solo debut in 2003, with a demo EP entitled "I've Been AltAred". It was well received by local fanbase.

His first independent full-length, "LoveHate: The Blu Baptism" dropped on Valentine’s Day 2008 to a worldwide audience via iTunes, showing the world what it truly meant to be "blue" on the day of Love. The album was later relaunched with a compact disc counterpart at labelmate DAVID 2.0's "The Anti-Virus" CD release concert.

In January of 2010, Blu and his 4 brothers began laboring over their very own label imprint, Lion Force Records, an indie record company based in San Diego, CA. Today, the label strives to bring real musicianship back to the forefront and unite the body of Christ at large. Several projects are slated for nationwide (and digital worldwide) release in 2011.

Mic Blu has shared the stage and/or studio with notables such as Anthony Hamilton, Kelly Price, Reba McEntyre, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, Tyrese, Israel & New Breed, Steve Harvey, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, MaryMary, DAVID 2.0, AJB & Group Therapy, David Dredden & Undefeated, Trevor Davis, Lucia and a host of others.
