Growing up in the Boston area ( and not a fan of the "Pop music of that time) at about age 14 I heard a radio station playing something called "country blues" . It was as if the world "opened up" and a place to be alive was found. I immediately became aware and influenced by all the awesome acoustic music that you could hear in local clubs and on local radio stations . My first attraction was to country blues, folk, and bluegrass. Oldtime was quickly added to the list . By age 15 I was learning guitar and how to play all this amazing music that was all around me. by age 16 I started performing and have been playing in Northeast Pennsylvania and the New England area on and off as a solo act for a number of years. I have mostly been playing in folk and acoustic music clubs..I have opened for Jim Kweskin, Erin Harpe, Howard Armstrong, Spider John Koerner, Guy Davis,Tony Bird, Roy Book Binder, and Roselle Soreles. I am currently in the process of putting together a CD of mostly original material.
