Singer songwriter and local Chattanoogan, Dana Rogers, began performing in and around the city (and beyond) in 1997. She's been playing guitar for 27 years and has developed a unique style that is all her own. Incorporating fingerstyle jazz, blues, soul, funk, folk and pop along with flatpicking and percussive playing, she has recently branded her music as "acoustic fusion". Add that to over three and a half decades of singing and what you have is one harmoniously musical marriage of guitar and vocals. A fan once told Dana that her voice "...is like steel reinforced velvet". Smooth and strong. Over the years, she has gigged at such venues as Soup Plus, the oldest jazz club in Sydney, Australia, and NY Singer Songwriter Sessions at legendary Manhattan venues, CBGB and The Bitter End.
