X-enia is an ongoing project initiated by Xenia Gottenkieny. Known as a creative-jack-of-all-trades Xenia works as a painter, photographer and musician. Collage is the common thread that runs through all her work
Characteristic in her music are her emotional, powerful vocals, supported by vintage synth, bleeps and other strange noises that twist and spiral through her driving bass-drum grooves.
In addition to local collaborations Xenia initiates 'real-time' online worldwide jams. At an international level she is setting up a platform for a musical and creative exchange with the focus on empowering artists, bands, performers and stimulating them to work together.
For Xenia this platform also helps in her continuous search to combine unexpected, surprising styles.
