Yukie was born in Santa Clara California. Her parents are half Japanese and half Caucasian. At a young age she moved to Japan and started learning the language. Being in Japan really opened her eyes to her culture and inspired her to get into music. A few years later Yukie moved back to California with her grandma. She excelled in choir, art, drama, musical theater and Tahitian dance. Her father who is an electric engineer would take her on tour with him. She loved the excitement of life on the road. Yukie and her father toured with bands such as: Aerosmith, Santana, Grateful Dead, and Neil Young. She was even so lucky to sing on stage with the Grateful Dead. Yukie has been doing modeling since a child and in 2005 she was in the running to be Miss Underworld. Music became a bigger part of her life when she met Hotpa and recorded her 1st song "More Than a Love Song." The song is due to be released soon! We Out Here Ent. fell in love with Yukie's voice and personality instantly. Yukie was soon signed as the 1st and only girl to We Out Here Ent. Since the signing Yukie has been hard at work on her solo project. She is currently working with: Petewonder, Karizmakaze, 50 Cal, Hotpa, Outrageous, Koji, and many more! Check back for updates. Thank you and 1 luv.
