Reba Hasko is an American artist, singer, keyboardist and composer. Hasko wrote, recorded, programmed and performed the songs for her second CD, during her three years in Berlin, Germany.
Featured on NPR's 'Second Stage' "Seeds from the Twisted Pear" would later go on to be hailed among music lovers as 'blissfully avant-garde', and nominated on Epinions Music Source for Best Album of the Year.
From Berlin, she traveled to New Mexico to collaborate in modern dance, dance film, installation and video while writing songs for her most recent album, 'Delicate Cyclone.'
Released January 2013, Hasko's newest record is a departure from the electronic self-production and crystalline vocals that propelled 'Seeds From The Twisted Pear'. We now hear Hasko in the studio, handing over the reigns to Engineer/Producer Devin Greenwood (Sufjan Stevens, Norah Jones) giving her the ample space needed to speak directly from the inner animal: which at times can be heard as the archetypal wolf woman, one of New Mexico's many mystical tales that have infused this recent collection of songs. Berlin's Kultmucke says,"The eight tracks on "Delicate Cyclone" are bathed in a mystical light....Hypnotic from beginning to end... "
Reba is currently living in Brooklyn, NY.

"...Delicate Cyclone does it all alone... eight songs of magnetic and mysterious songwriting, where the voice, with its touches and its infinite expressive streams, is transformed into a veritable megaphone for the soul..." -OndaRock
“...Today I heard a wonderful one-woman-band that has embraced the avant-garde and created magic. Reba Hasko ... creates ensembles of sound that pull you into a world of images and shapes, of colors and feeling. Sometimes you listen to her music and you feel like you can reach out and touch it, almost taste it. Reba Hasko follows in very much the same vein as Grimes and Lykke Li, creating and producing all her own music, and just like her contemporaries, her music toes a fantastical line between the mechanical and the emotional. Using synths and effects masterfully, she mixes the artificial with her naturally brilliant voice to create music that is not only imbued with energy, but laced with sedative...” -Hypetree
"Listening to Reba Hasko's music is like observing an alchemist creating art in a laboratory of the heart & mind..."
