David Schnerr is a musician who has won acclaim from audiences and critics ever since he first set foot on a recital stage at age seven. David is at home as a performer whether he is playing a classical guitar recital or doing a progressive jazz gig at a local hot-spot.
David had a lucrative career touring with and backing many stars. He also served as musical director and arranger for several acts and projects during his career. He is now concentrating on a career as a media and concert composer.
David was on the faculty at RiverBend Academy, School of Visual and Performing Arts in Henderson Kentucky (USA) where he taught guitar, piano, double bass, theory and composition.
In 2010, David was voted into the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers. He is a member of the League of Composers/ISCM, the Registry of Guitar Tutors, in the London College of Music (UK.) and the Los Angeles Jazz Society.
He and his wife, Bonnie are patrons to several musical clubs and foundations.
David is an independent composer for orchestras, ensembles, soloists and pipe organ.
He has retired from solo and ensemble performances for different functions but is available for workshops and lectures.
