Tony’s passion for music started at a very young age when he began playing drums. This passion led him to studying music and earning a degree in Jazz Performance from Temple University as a percussionist. While studying music, Tony also spent his time playing in numerous bands in the Philadelphia area experimenting in several musical genres from pop to progressive rock which gave him the musical versatility and style that is evident in his music today. Tony’s most notable early music collaboration was playing and recording with Scott McGill, guitar virtuoso, in the progressive jazz fusion band, The Hand Farm.
After leaving the Hand Farm, Tony established himself as both a Physicist/Rocket Scientist and a Marathoner while taking a break from the music scene.
Since returning to the music scene, Tony has once again established himself in the Philadelphia / New Jersey music scene. Tony has honed his musical craft as he has taken up numerous additional instruments as well as singing and songwriting. Tony’s music can be heard on radio stations both nationally and internationally – from the US to England to Australia. Today Tony is playing the local Philly and New Jersey scene as both a solo artist and with the River Mercy Band, as he continues to perform and write new material for recording.
