The Bobaloos / Bio

Originally known as "Hurricane" formed in Atlanta, GA. in 1979. Changed the name of the band in 1987 to The Bobaloos and performed at clubs in the Southeast for years building fan support. They have headlined in 1,000 seat halls and have opened for .38 Special, Gregg Allman, Scorpions, Johnny Winter, Molly Hatchet, Robin Trower and others.

The Bobaloos CD is high-energy rock and roll at its best. Performing on this record is Franky Day, Marty Fab, Boonie Maroonie, Chris Lewis, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Gregg Allman (The Allman Brothers/Gregg Allman Band), Billy Powell and Leon Wilkeson (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Howard Leese (Heart/Paul Rodgers Band/Bad Company), Robin Floyd, Bobby Mobley, Bobby Williams, Tony Vaughn, TV Strain, Michael Bastedo, Christi Roland Vaughn. -----

A highlight of the album is the performances of Billy Powell and Leon Wilkeson (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Howard Leese (Heart/Paul Rogers Band/Bad Company). The album was mixed by heavyweights Brendan O'brian and Rodney Mills & Jerry Ragavoy. Hear it to believe it!

The Bobaloos have finished their new upcoming CD "Rock & Roll Your Blues Away" featuring original songs of Rock & Roll with a release date set for Fall 2014. 2 singles have already been released: Rock & Roll Your Blues Away and So Called Love.

"Rock & Roll Your Blues Away" features Franky Day, Tommy Shannon, Chris Layton, Derek St. Holmes, Bobby Mobley and Double Trouble.

"So Called Love" features Franky Day, Larry Hensley, Bobby Mobley and the late Chris Lewis.
