Frances Livings / Bio

The London-born artist Frances Livings has always been passionately independent-minded: Drawing from different life experiences has made her ability to both craft and tell a story very unique. Her engaging voice may remind you of Sade, and is interesting and expressive like Annie Lennox’. Frances can be heard on various recordings: Her seductive interpretation of Cole Porter’s “In The Still of the Night” on Daddy Deep’s album “Professorship” (1999) became a featured song for the compilation “Blue Moves”. Her interest in innovative music led to the electronica collaboration 4UrbanArtists (2000-2003). She was also a guest artist on the jazz album “Inventions” (2008) by the guitarist and composer Greg Porée.
