Thea Neuman seeks out fresh ideas charged with life, beauty, and an uncanny feel for what sounds just right. Two years at Edmonton's Grant MacEwan college and a very special year at Michigan State University with her mentor, Ms. Sunny Wilkinson, brought Thea to stages throughout Detroit, Chicago, Texas and back home in Canada. Upon returning home to Alberta, Thea brought the heavy hitting swing of the East back to the West, and opened for the Hutchinson Andrew trio, featuring drummer Sandro Dominelli. Her and Sandro would soon be pairing up in the studio to create her first full length Jazz album, “Lady and the Tramps.” Look for it in early 2010, with the new year promising to be Thea’s busiest and best.
