JJ Baron is a prolific singer/songwriter from Rhode Island, who has spent considerable time living and playing in New York City and Austin, TX, before settling in Nashville, TN. JJ is no stranger to the stage and has worked as a professional performer for 12 years, building a career and releasing his first album "Brand New Stranger".
A brilliant songwriter, he is now currently focusing on his music - writing, recording and performing. JJ is extremely comfortable on stage and has played many venues, ranging from hundreds at music festivals across the States, to intimate concerts and just about everything in between. His music is a cross between alt. country and americana, with his lyrics repeating in your head long after hearing him.
"JJ knows how to write, play and sing a tune—and he knows how to surround himself with talented players, including Slaid Cleaves, Jim Weider (The Band), Stu Kimball (Bob Dylan), Buddy Cage (New Riders of the Purple Sage) and others. This is an excellent record.”

JJ Baron is currently working on recording his latest project, paying no attention to genres, opting instead to rock out from the heart.
"JJ's got the gift. He knows how to craft songs that give you the goose bumps, he plays a mean guitar, and he has a great attitude. In the next few years, the folk world will come to know JJ Baron, and I'll be saying, 'I told you so!' "
