Romeo's Daughter / Bio

This UK band is fronted by female vocalist Leigh Matty, expertly backed by songwriter and guitarist Craig Joiner, Ed Poole on bass and drummer Andy Wells. The band came together under the direction of Robert 'Mutt' Lange who along with John Parr and Craig, worked hard on the songs/production and with a contract from Jive Records, issued the singles 'Don't break my heart', 'I cry myself to sleep at night' and 'Heaven in the backseat'. The 1989 self-titled album sold well and the band proved a popular live attraction, receiving much attention from Radio 1's Rock Show which broadcast live concerts and an exclusive session. The band went to ground but resurfaced in 1993 with another single, 'Attracted To The Animal'
