I was born on March 29th in Detroit, MI. My mother, Saundra Mallett-Edwards was the lead vocalist for two groups at Motown records in the sixties. I grew up around music and really liked to sing and entertain. But, at the ripe old age of four, I started writing poems, then putting melodies to them. I thoroughly enjoyed the art of writing and arranging songs. All through elementary, middle and high school, I kept writing and finally decided I would like, or should I say "LOVE" to collab with other writers and write for artists. After high school, I began singing with various local bands and still felt like something was missing, even though I was having a ball. After a few years of cover songs all night, I finally got back to the creative side of my brain and found I could write songs and arrange background vocals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm still "green" when it comes to creating music tracks but I'm working on it! I put a few instrumental samples of my work in the showcase for your review. I'm hoping to collaborate with fluent, polished, experienced musicians to take me to the next level. This is definately work but when you love what you're doing, it's not hard at all!
