Stolen Fruit / Bio

“Stolen Fruit is sweetest” –is the old English proverb responsible for inspiring the band’s name. They Say ‘We play it like we stole it!’ And it sounds so sweet.
The music of Stolen Fruit is eclectic. Andrea’s vocal range allows her to sing the low bluesy tunes or wail out what she likes to call “angry chick music”. Their original music is best classified as “folk rock”. A fan described their live sound as “Natalie Merchant meets Aerosmith”. The band’s drummer, Mino, has a Native American background that creeps into his beats. His style brings a new age spin on traditional beats. When playing live he breaks out large sets that include a full kit, hand drums, chimes, and innumerable amounts of percussive instruments that he incorporates into the songs. The guitar player, Max Rousseau, is a self proclaimed "jam band kinda guy" and shows the flexibility and finesse as a true jam band player. Matt Wilson, the bass player is the newest addition to the band and is proving quickly that he can keep an audience moving.
