The members of Wheathouse have been writing and playing music for over 20 years in many different projects. Chuck, Brian and Jamison have been playing together for the last 5 yrs. In 2009 they recorded an EP called "Fairweather Friend" with original drummer Billy Reynolds. A long road of shows around Nashville and many songs later Billy and the band respectfully parted ways. After a rough patch with replacement drummers and fill-ins, in April of 2013 the band hooked up with Bobby Hutson, hometown friend and drummer. The guys were back at full throttle again. A couple of weeks later Bobby, suggested that former band mate Matt Irwin, piano player should do some work on one of their songs called 2a.m. What he brought to the song was enough for everyone to agree that he should bring it to every song and just a few days later Matt was the last member of Wheathouse.
In the short time that this lineup has been working together ,Wheathouse has stormed through Nashville playing tons of shows, being featured on 102.9 The Buzz, voted Best Hard Rock Band in Nashville by NIMA( Nashville Independent Music Awards, Completed a full length album called "Days Since Past" that is soon to be released, and written numerous new songs. 2013 was a good year for Wheathouse and 2014 will be the biggest yet.
