Make Me Break Me has become known for kicking ass and taking names all over the Midwest's post-hardcore scene. This five-member group consists of frontman Anthony Sasser, guitarists JD Trefney and Kevin Fitzgerald, bassist Aaron Voege and drummer Mike Hamilton. Over the past four years, they've matured from near obscurity to playing shows with some of the bands they’ve looked up to the most including Senses Fail, Shai Hulud, Psychostick and I The Breather.
After several early lineup changes and 2009’s “Diamonds And Guns” release, the band solidified its sound as well as its reputation as one of the most energetic live shows in their hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. 2010 brought a coveted radio festival spot and a Midwest summer tour as the band began writing new material. They spent 2011 writing and touring, even through the departure of guitarist Zach Galloway. Not long after, Kevin Fitzgerald of Break These Walls signed on, bringing a new perspective and drive. The band has recharged for 2012, leading to the aptly titled “Leveled Up” EP.
Now with several tours, albums and bumps in the road under their belts, MMBM hopes to continue expanding their reach and winning over fans from Cincinnati, OH, to Tulsa, OK, and beyond.
