Before the Solstice began in 2007 when vagrant guitarist and songwriter Clint Bussey went to record some of his new songs at bassist JW Popavits house. They soon realized that the chemistry, though very unbalanced, was great so they found a drummer and called the fledgling band Before the Solstice.
Though they have had a couple of setbacks in the last three years, and relentless problems with drummers, things are looking up for Before the Solstice nowadays. With Tony Runco tearing it up on drums and their new EP A "New Song", Before the Solstice are planning yet another Georgia tour for 2010 with emphasis on getting known in the ever expanding and diverse Atlanta Music Scene.
