Wade has been reviewed as having a voice that says Texas. He started off writing a theme song for a fishing show. After a couple of CD's he laid his fishing pole down and started writing catchy toe tapping country songs. For me, it's still a great feeling to watch folks dance to the music we're making. Like any song writer, I hope to get my music in front of as many people as possible.
Put Me on the Cover ( fishing song) has been played on TV since 1993 and is still playing. Wade has two fishing CD's. Any Lake in Texas published in 1999 and Fishin' Tunes from Texas published in 2002. In 2002 Wade Hatton and his music were inducted into the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame.
Cuts from the "A Million Miles from Nashville" CD have been played on small market radio stations, ocassionally the larger ones and internet radio in and out of Texas and the United States and several other countries. Raunchy-Tonkin' Rowdy, our new CD, was released December 09.
Wade has been reviewed as having a voice that says Texas. The Band has played just about every type of venue from Casi International Chili cook off, Music Festivals, Ballrooms to your local favorite bars. Wade can always adapt the set list to facilitate audience participation.
"Some have said He sounds like Waylon, some have say a little like Cash. All I know is He play's Hank Sr, to Hank III, most all the traditional country artist, a hand full of the top 40 current Country songs, some of the current Texas artist, and some of his own. Wade has written but not yet recorded a few Rockin Country tunes and he is looking forward to producing the next CD sometime soon. If Wade can put a smile on your face and make you dance he has done his job.
