J Griffith Weaver has been writing music/lyrics for over 20 years .His style ranges from Country,Pop Blues and ballads.The song The Last Goodbye received a favorable review in the Wall Street Journal September 11, 2002. J. also played The Last Goodbye at ground zero for a small ceremony on September 4 2002.The song was also played on a USO tour to Afghanastan by The Army Blues Band out of Washington D.C.
NBC Television in Chicago interviewed J. Griffith and aired the music video of The Last Goodbye as a part of their remembrance of that tragic day.
On January 19, 2001 on radio station WLJE in Valparaiso IN played his song Right Here/
Right Now as part of a listeners call in Battle of the Bands it won 2 weeks in a row. It had the highest call in numbers the radio station ever had.
