Jeff Putnam is a singer songwriter from the Atlanta Area and has been writing original music since 1981. Putnam lists his perennial influences as Ian Hunter of Mott the Hoople fame, the piano man himself; Billy Joel, and Atlanta’s own singer songwriter Shawn Mullins. He has performed at such storied venues as Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta and venues in and around Nashville such as The Commodore, The Nashville Palace, and The Rusty Nail to name a few. He has been with short lived groups such as Picker’s Ridge and Sylvan Rails with whom he has had experience of playing festivals such as Pigs and Peaches, and The Taste of Kennesaw. Putnam is a member of the NSAI and a shareholder in the music website, Songramp.com. He hopes to release a CD with new material in 2016. Currently, he, his wife Lori, and daughter Kaelyn reside just north of Atlanta.
