Steve Davison / Bio

Mr. Davison is a finger style guitarist who composes on both the 6 and 12 string guitar. His compositions are built around simple melodic structure. Mr. Davison is a 2-time finalist and 2005 winner of the solo competition at the Arkansas Acoustic Music Festival. Mr. Davison has performed at Riverfest, Acoustic Sounds Café, Peace Acoustic Café, Advent Café, The Poet’s Loft in the state and many venues around the country with Artistry of the Guitar. He has opened for such artists as Richard Thompson, Pierre Bertaud, Emily Katz and has shared the stage with Ken Bonfield, Peter Janson, Tim Farrell, Dakota Dave Hull, Muriel Anderson and Larry Coryell. Mr. Davison was a featured performer on Arkansas Educational Network Television’s “AETN Presents” broadcast and his music was also used as a soundtrack for another AETN production, “The Historic Bridges of Arkansas”. Steve has also performed at the Montreal Guitar Festival and the Healdsburg Guitar Festival
