Sherry St. Germain is a classically trained, accomplished Producer/Singer, Songwriter and Multi Instrumentalist. Published and supported by Nettwerk One & Milk Music Co.- She writes and produces many successful Major Film and TV sync placements. Known for her ability to craft that perfect catchy hit, Sherry is sought after for her extensive and genre bending catalogue of music. In studio sessions, Sherry’s Production, Songwriting and Vocal skills create unique relationships and musical works with those she’s collaborates with.
Born to a big family of talented musicians in Winnipeg, Manitoba, it was in her blood to create music. Since the age of 5yrs, Sherry began composing and taking an interest in recording herself. Already with a trained ear she quickly discovered the bathroom had the best acoustics and would drag her mic cord down the hallway to lock herself in and sing. Sherry entered into competitions at a young age where she would beat out her teachers in composition contests, winning awards, she showed everyone that her path was to follow in the footsteps of her talented parents Glory & Ray St. Germain.
Sherry’s debut album “Kick out the Lights” (2009) was Co- produced with the expertise of Ben Kaplan. The album is a Funk/Rock/British Pop vibe which took the airways across Canada and into the hearts of her fans. Billboard Magazine featured Sherry as “Best upcoming Artist” with her track “Get Stoned” off the album. “If this is love, I hate it” was picked up by Slice Tv’s show “The Mistress” as its theme song.
After being scouted on You Tube for Cirque Du Soleil’s "Viva Elvis" production Sherry moved to Las Vegas, NV to begin performing 2 shows daily for the next 3yrs. Her rendition of “One night with you” is a favorite with many who saw the show. Working with Cirque was a catalyst in creating the buzz of this sound sirens electrifying performances in Las Vegas. This landed her a residency at “The Palms” lounge with her band “The Lost Vanguards”. A critically acclaimed show, Sherry’s performance quickly became a “must see” amongst the “who’s who” of Las Vegas.
Her stage presence has been referred to as “A cross between Janis Joplin and Erykah Badu, combined with amazing piano skills and her hair whipping all over the place”. Each night was a new experience and a crowd full of famous musicians supporting her such as; Frankie Moreno, Elton’s John’s band, Mike Reno of "Loverboy" and so many more.
Since her hit release “Steel Eyes” with Canadian Producer Benji stormed the EDM charts and airways Sherry is now working on original pieces with TIESTO, Morgan Page and Revolver, as well as her own live show that will without a doubt be ground breaking.
