Victory, Sweet Victory formed in 2009 and consists of five artistic and enthusiastic young musicians from Hamilton, Brantford and Toronto area. Their musical style is “progressive pop-punk with a rock slant,” and combines pop melodies with speedy punk tempos, chord changes and loud guitars. Victory, Sweet Victory (VSV) has a radio friendly sheen to their music, and an energetic, high-spirited stage performance that will leave the audience energized!
VSV played many local clubs, showcases, charity shows and festivals in Southern Ontario and their perseverance paid off and won them a coveted spot at Vans Warped Tour 2010 on the Ernie Ball Stage. VSV recently opened for “Abandon All Ships” on their Ontario CD release tour in 2010, and played to “sold out” crowds at The Opera House and the Phoenix in Toronto.
Victory, Sweet Victory released a new single and video “Sun and the Stars” (Oct 2010) which received tremendously positive response and youtube views. The video release has expanded VSV’s fan base and recognition beyond Ontario. The music, live performances and chemistry of the band are truly a “formula for success.”
The band will be touring this year and recording a new EP to further expand their fan base and build on the energy and success they have attained doing what they love - playing music!
Some other bands we have shared the stage with:
These Kids Wear Crowns, Abandon All Ships, Emarosa, The Salads , Mayday Parade and many more.
