Wonderland Syndrome / Bio

We're just a bunch of Space Pirates who are here to teach humanity some things they should know,

Hailing from various parts of the San Francisco Bay Area, the members of Wonderland Syndrome have come together to blur the borders of this reality and shatter your perception of life, the universe, and everything. The band's unique sound and style draw influence from every corner of the metal spectrum and well beyond. With a mind-bending mix of heaviness and experimentalism, Wonderland Syndrome has spent the past half-decade releasing recordings and touring as extensively as possible. The band's one-of-a-kind sound only serves to highlight their intense live performances, often involving bizzare stage antics and always high energy and incredible stage presence. Come see Wonderland Syndrome live and you won't regret it.

Wonderland Syndrome's fifth studio release, entitled Our Reality, Or Just A Dream? showcases the band's commitment to exploring new sonic realms, The mood, sound, and style of the album ranges wildly. From the heaviest of the heavy to beautiful piano-based instrumentals. From experimental electronic pieces to slow, sensual, psychedelia. From faster and more intense punk rock to the band's classic funky ridiculousness, Wonderland Syndrome's new album takes you along on a journey of self-discovery that you won't want to miss.

Wonderland Syndrome has been in existence since August of 2009, and the band's roots extend back more than 10 years to teenage garage days and extensive experience in the hardened bay area thrash scene. Over time the band members grew tired of the monotony that comes with typical metal and decided to expand their minds and their horizons, and Wonderland Syndrome was born. Our Reality, Or Just A Dream?, as well as the band's previous releases, are available now worldwide at www.wonderlandsyndrome.net
