Danielle began her musical studies on the recorder at the age of four in Hamilton, ON. In 1999 she moved to Kingston, ON where she completed a Bachelor of Music degree on the violin at Queen’s University.
Danielle now lives in Kingston where she teaches violin privately. She plays first violin with The Kingston Symphony and plays with various bands doing guest spots and studio work. Currently, she’s playing with Boru’s Harp, a Celtic band she and fellow fiddler Brian Flynn formed in 2005, as well as Calamity Janes, a four-piece all female group, which was formed in 2009. You can catch her from time to time with The Swamp Ward Orchestra, Kyra and Tully and Mojo Shooter.
