Cavanah was born in the heart North Philadelphia’s Soul doo-wop era. She is the daughter of living soul legend Robert Irvin known as Bobby Love. Growing up in the asphalt streets of North Philly row houses, corner liquor stores and store front churches on every block, Cavanah understood the pulse of the streets by embracing every aspect of life. “It's not where you live, it’s how you live” she says. Cavanah is often inspired by the good, the bad, and the in between that is alive in and around our society. She often listens and studies artist who have pioneered our musical history. James Brown, Sisters Love, Marva Whitney, and George Clinton are in frequent rotation when Cavanah is not performing. Outside of her passion for music, Cavanah believes in taking responsiblility for the youth in and around the community. "We have a responsibility to nurture and guide our children to be productive individuals in our communities to secure a better future. And if I can inspire just one child through music creatively, then I have fulfilled my repsonsibility as a humanitarian and artist." Although Cavanah has yet to release an album commericially, she is well known and respected by some of (the insiders) greatest producers and record executives in the industry, not to mention having three of her promo/demo songs receive local and global radio buzz all across the world. Some surpising collaborations and long anticipated projects are definitely in the works. Continued support for Cavanah has been a humble amazing journey, promising great longevity in the near future for this phenomenal woman, mother, and independent artist.
