Zach Lockwood is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter who blends the honesty of modern country with the contagious energy of rock and roll.
Zach’s musical success began at a young age as he performed at local venues, sharing the stage with artists such as Edwin McCain, Martin Sexton, Ari Hest and Keller Williams. Upon graduating high school, Zach began writing with Nashville country artist Chad Warrix of the duo Halfway to Hazard (Mercury Nashville). While attending classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Zach also began playing with other young talented musicians, which has pushed him to perform and write at a higher level.
In the past year, Zach has been co-writing and demoing material in Nashville and New York with producers, including Gregg Wattenberg (Train, O.A.R.) and Jamie Kenney (Marc Broussard, Carrie Underwood). Aside from songwriting, Zach also found himself sharing the stage with established artists such as Corey Smith, Colt Ford, Randy Houser, Josh Kelley, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and David Nail in 2011/2012.
