Wrapped up in the rebellious lifestyle, (Singer)Jessica Owens, spent her time involved with witchcraft. Until God got a hold of her in 2006 and changed her life completely. “This is coming from someone who use to hate God with a passion. I wanted nothing to do with him or Christianity, but Jesus saved me and he fixed everything that used to be wrong. I no longer have a broken home.” Says Jessica.
From that moment on, Seraphica was birthed out of the ashes of dysfunction. It started with vision and desire and grew into a group of people all reaching towards the same goal... Reaching out to the very group of people they use to be. “We are in no way a band. A band goes out and tries to get their name out there, but we're just trying to share the same message that saved each of us. We aren't a band, we're the Church.” Says Jessica.
Seraphica is Latin for "of or like a seraph" (a seraph is a type of angel) referred to in ( Isaiah 6:1-8). The name “Seraphica” came before either member was aware of it's meaning and it was later confirmed by a complete stranger that Seraphica was meant to be something each of them were supposed to do.
It's had its ups and downs. What ministry hasn't? Either way, members Jessica(singer), Jordan(bassist), and guitarist Kevin press on preforming memorable concerts and making a stand in the West Coast.
