From her vivacious stage performances to her infectiously rapturous personality, La Vie is a shining example of living life to the fullest! With such a becoming name, “La Vie,” which in French means “The Life,” uses her eclectic contemporary sound as a vehicle to encourage and empower all people to seek out and experience “the life” that God intends for all to have!
Charline Murphy, La Vie’s real name, realized the potential in her gift of singing in the seventh grade, yet didn’t begin pursuing music until the age of 17. Since then, she has been awarded the opportunity to sing and travel with many local artists, as well as national and international recording artists, such as Martha Munizzi, Nigel Lewis, Papa San, and Joe Pace. In September 2015, La Vie went on tour as the opening act for KyMani Marley on “The Maestro Tour”. La Vie is presently working on her second album “The Love Story” to be released early 2016.
La Vie was a featured artist at 2016 Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival opening for Fred Hammond, Janelle Monae, Babyface, Brian Culbertson and Usher.
Now, employing her sensational collaboration of Soul, R&B, and Pop musical styles, La Vie’s music is expressing her lifelong message: to show the world that each and every person is not only uniquely designed, but is wonderfully created with vision…with purpose!
It’s time to embrace your greatness! It’s time to live “THE LIFE!”
