Eileen Tipping presents an eclectic mix of tasteful, thought provoking compositions in a voice that wraps the listener in a warm embrace. She has been compared to Laura Nyro, Tracey Nelson, and even Van Morrison, but she remains a truly unique stylist. Growing up listening to the likes of Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, and a host of other blues and folk artists, Eileen learned that music was not only the food for the soul, but that it could be a catalyst for change as well. Music became a lifelong passion and when she found her own voice after the birth of he third child, her aim was to create songs that would touch hearts as well as stimulate minds. Her compositions have won numerous awards, most recently the 2013 Philadelphia Songwriter Slam.
Eileen has performed at the New Jersey Folk Festival, the Upper Merion Concerts Under the Stars, the Musikfest in Bethlehem,PA. and many local venues and festivals. She was awarded first place at the 2013 Philadelphia Songwriter Slam
