Hearts Fail is a San Antonio-based Dark Indie/ Post Punk band. Imagine the dark melodic economy of She Wants Revenge and Interpol being rocked out by the grandeur of Muse and Placebo, add a hint of sex, violence, and mischief, and you're almost there.
Hearts Fail formed in 2003, and has self-released five albums, the latest being 2013's full-length album "The Tower," which was written, performed, recorded, produced, and mixed by Edward Wagner. 2012 also saw the band sign with Austria's Strobelight Records, which released, "Fires in the Night," a compilation of Hearts Fail music pulling from each of their previous albums and including new, unreleased music. The band has toured regionally throughout Texas and the southwest, opening for such acts as The Birthday Massacre, The Start, Nico Vega, Peter Murphy, Gene Loves Jezebel, Cruxshadows, The Mission UK, Bella Morte, Moving Units, Ringo Deathstar, and The Last Dance.
Hearts Fail is Edward Wagner on vocals and guitar, Gabriel Wilcoxen on drums, Phil Cox on bass, Vince Davila on lead guitar, and Clint Kingsbery on keyboard.
