Highland Ramblers / Bio

Highland Ramblers, the Denver based boot-stomping roots band known for their take on old-time and traditional Americana music. Drawing influences from roots music, folk, and blues, the Highland Ramblers craft and perform original material bordering bluegrass that is filled with thoughtful stories, high harmonies, and a blistering whirlwind of pickin’ sure to keep you dancing, even if you don’t know how to!

Early encouragement from a strong network of friends yielded successful initial gigs and landed the Highland Ramblers in Denver's Sunnyside Music Fest (in 2009) by winning the Battle of the Bands. They now perform regularly in Colorado at a variety of venues and have shared the stage with national touring acts. In 2011 The Highland Ramblers released an EP and continue to write new songs.
