Jet & The Borderline / Bio

Born in Kansas City and landed in Mid-Missouri (via-Howard County), Jet started playing piano at 10, drums at 16, and guitar at 18. Jet formed Pip Flippin (a comedic alt-rock group) in 2001.

After a 2004 split-up, Jet has written over 100 songs for everything from commercial use to film.

After releasing "Crazy" as a single in 2007, the song was nominated for an Independent Music Award for "Best Pop Song" and "Best Acoustic Song" in 2008.

A year later, "Natalie (You Cannot Stay)" was nominated for another Independent Music Award in the "Sing Out For Social Action" category.

Jet! began work on what would become his first solo album "Pink Pants" more than four years ago. The ten-song collection "Pink Pants" was released on April 23, 2011 and includes remastered versions of "Crazy" and "Natalie (You Cannot Stay)".

"Pink Pants" is now available on iTunes:
