The Nothing Left / Bio

The Electro-Rock styles of Miami-based 3-piece The Nothing Left deliver organic and synthetic power and grace. Blending the spacey, atmospheric tranquility of Pink Floyd with the tension-creating aggression of Nine Inch Nails.
Singer/Keyboardist Robert Arbelo and guitarist James Carnicella founded the band, and were joined by drummer Nelson Morales in 2010. It’s too easy to call them a heavy Depeche Mode, because they are so much more than that. Although they all share the duty of programming, their individual perspectives and talents are evident. Vocal performances by Robert Arbelo are emotional and wide-ranged. As are the guitars of James Carnicella, going from clean acoustic to heavy distortion to subtle ambiance. The free and flowing drumming of Nelson Morales is tight and on point, keeping all 3 members together and in sync with the synths, strings and Miami-inspired bass.
In 2012, The Nothing Left released their first EP, A Complex Simplicity. Each song sets a mood, taking the listener from one otherworldly place to another. A Complex Simplicity is a collection of music that represents a multitude of ideas and emotions. Years of friendship and creativity. New bonds and bright futures. From raw, abstract thought, to social commentary, to looking in on, and dealing with, the addict and addiction.
