This is a story of a street savvy, well known, suave hustler from the streets of Miami Dade & Broward county, named Pone. As a young man growing up in a single parent house, moving from neighborhood to neighborhood, weather the reason being, cost of living or the constant attempt to escape the ills of the ghetto, Rapping became a common form of expression. learning to radiate his internal drive, coupled with the distinct ability to attract other street performers with the most incredible talent, Pone became known as a local Go_Getter & featured Artist in the South Florida mix tape circuit. After a few stints with the law that usually accompanies the urban thirst for the American dream, Pone realized that a serious consideration to his craft would occupy him enough that though he wasn't giving up hustlin, that at least it was a healthy balance in the pursue of the straight & narrow.
While gaining notoriety for his unique flow and psychedelic wordplay in the streets of Miami & Ft. Lauderdale Florida, Pone worked vigorously to learn & excel in the rankings of the underground world of Southern Rap. Wearing multiple hats, as Gemini usually do, Pone became a solo/independent artist, buying his own equipment, learning to record & produce himself, editing & directing his music videos, became involved in the online self promotion wave, & incorporated his label (Kriminal Recordz) along with friend and fellow rap artist 'Low Life' on Jul 22nd 2009. The mix tape "Food For Da Gods" featuring hot tracks like 'Down Bitch' Produced by Roc It Pro & 'No One' produced by (Wiz Khalifa's producer) ID Labs, was then released on April 9th 2011 along with a string of well received youtube videos like 'Lost', 'Hey Pimpin' and 'SucksFree'. This artist is definitely fun to pay close attention to.
