After playing in bands in his native Georgia, Bill moved to Nashville to seek fame and fortune and to forever be confused with the more famous "Billy Burnette" (hence the W.L.). A former staff writer at Sony/ATV Tree Music, Bill has had songs recorded by Ricky Van Shelton, Ty England, David Kersh, Chalee Tennison, Jessica Andrews, Wade Hayes, Rhett Akins, and Continental Divide among others. Now working on his long-awaited greatest hits compilation "Greatest Hits That Never Were". Included on this page are some mixes from the project, due out whenever he gets done with it. Working with a budget that consists of some ham sandwiches, some Pringles and maybe a few Cokes, it could be awhile...
