"Pamela Parker sounds like the love child of Ann Wilson and Axl Rose."
- Steve Levington, Program Director, CHLY 101.7FM
A truly gifted songwriter, Pamela Parker has a wealth of classic sounding original songs that span the gamut of the rock idiom. She says, "My message is one of self-empowerment, and my medium is what I grew up on…Rock & Roll!" The band takes their cues from Queen, Thin Lizzy, and The Stones, to name a few, yet maintains a fresh sound all its own. With stunning vocals, monster guitar chops, classical piano skills, and a colorful twist on songwriting, Pamela's music is stimulating society as 'Original Classic Rock for the New Millennium.' Armed with her trusty red Gibson SG, purple Vintage Modern Marshall half-stack, and out of this world band mates, Parker is set to become the next female rock icon by offering up heavy hooks with hot slabs of fresh rock & roll. With a live show that is nothing short of electrifying, Pamela Parker has opened for Rock & Roll Hall of Famer's Heart and rock legends Big Brother & the Holding Company (Janis Joplin’s original band). She has also headlined sizable festivals including 2013 Haight-Ashbury Street Fair, Peace Day SF, Tough Mudder - Toronto, 2012 International Women's Day , 2011 Earth Day SF, Peace Day SF, and Bay Vibes Summer Fest. Pamela has toured the East Coast from DC to NYC and the West Coast from LA to Vancouver. The band has just signed a national distribution deal with Fishbone’s label, Moore Mapp Records with the release of their new album Evolutionary Process.
"Pamela Parker’s vocal duet with the legendary lead guitar part in 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' , is a testament to her creativity and sheer vocal power."
- Dave Shaw, LA Beat (Apr 12, 2013)
"This was a really great show. Lot's of high energy music and Pamela has a very unique voice. If you get a chance to see her, I suggest you do so!"
- Billy Sunrise Radio (Apr 20, 2013)
"When I first heard Pamela Parker's 'Is It Real?' I knew I had to have Evolutionary Process. Pamela Parker sounds like the love child of Ann Wilson and Axl Rose all the while looking like the daughter of Slash. Eric McFadden plays the guitar like he's being possessed by Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana at the same time. There's only one real word to describe this band and this album....Smooth. This is the kind of music you want to roll over, light a cigarette and ask was it good for you, too? There is no such thing as a bad song on this album, it's the kind you can put in your car and go on a road trip on, drive with the top down and looking damn cool doing it. I'm a music director of a radio station and I feel that Pamela Parker's Evolutionary Process is my greatest discovery this year and if you're smart it'll be yours 2 "
- DJ Evil Steve, CHLY 101.7FM (Apr 24, 2013)
