Marion Crane hails from the murder capital of Florida, and has been cranking out devious rock n roll since 2009. Taking inspiration from a variety of sources, including but not limited to the grunge wave, the heavy crunch of Metallica riffs, the abrasive grinding of the industrial explosion, Alfred Hitchcock, Edgar Allan Poe, and horror movies - the band hopes to offer something unique to the listener. In addition to a dose of heavy rock n roll, the band also combines their music with film, producing their own music videos to accompany each release, as directed by frontman S. Thomas Crane. In 2012, the band released their debut album The New Religion on Full Effect Records, and saw themselves opening for various national acts across the state of Florida (Sevendust, Framing Hanley, Filter, Fuel) as well as finding airplay at several college radio stations across America, and getting some spins from the likes of the Lex and Terry show as well as Bubba the Love Sponge. The band is preparing to release a new album in the spring of 2014. Marion Crane 2.0.
