Gasoline Addicts have been in the music scene for years and have developed into one of the desired bands to see live. Their original blend of sounds has people wanting more and more. Punk, Blues, Soul and Rawk & Roll added to one infectious, hi octane sound.
They started out 1998 in Fullerton, Ca. playing with great bands like Burnin’ Groove, Throw Rag, Bastard Winos, Cadillac Tramps, Disguster, The Harlis Sweetwater Band, Cornfed Project, Dodge Dart, Mr. Miranga, Lit and many others. The original line up consisted of Jay O’Brien on drums, Roso Garcia on bass and vocals, Dave Turturro lead vocals, guitar and Robert Williams on lead guitar. Lead guitar duties changed up with Gary Iacobucci ripping for a few years and now ripper John Ball has come to add it all up.
Recording the independently released EP “Gasoline Addicts” in 2000, this served as a tool to get the word out. After hittin’ the streets they recorded the full length album “Supercharged” signed and released via Acropolis Records in 2009. Due to some changes in vision they decided to leave. The band now is working on new material playin live, planning to record soon and distribute physically and via the digital interweb.
As the sound gets better and they create new fans along the way, be sure to come out and see them live in a town or city near you.
