Chuck Starr / Bio

Chuck Starr and The Problem is an American pop rock band that originated in Columbus Ohio. Formed in 2013 by Chuck Starr and David Rice, the band was originally known as Chuck Starr and the Band. The band achieved early success on Reverbnation as an unsigned act, and was able to open up for artist Miguel, Dwele, and headlined a show at BB Kings in NYC. In the spring of 2014 after playing shows throughout the Columbus Ohio area, record labels approached the band with interest. The band ultimately decided to go independent and sign to there own record label called Chuck Starr Worldwide. The band began to rehearse, and work on there first single which was never released, due to unforeseen tragedies, with Chuck Starr losing his grandparents.

The summer of 2014 the band decided that being called the band was not appealing, so the band collectively decided to come up with band names, ranging from Chuck Starr and the light, Chuck Starr and the orphans, to Chuck Starr and the twinkles, before deciding to be called Chuck Starr and the Problem. Now with a band name, Chuck Starr and the Problem began working on there live project with songs "Dance with me" and Boo For Now. The band is currently in the studio recording there first album to be released in the spring.

Through adversity the Band found out that you have to "Live in the moment" this began to be a motto that the band would follow, this motto was the glue and provided the band hope to receive a chance, and with this chance the band would invoke there passion, story, and presence to an audience to receive another chance. SO you know a little about us. We have invited you into our world, now open up your world and give us the chance to finish our story. Let's live in the moment.. TO BE CONTINUED....
